Booking and Payment

  • All communication regarding tour and travel service bookings must be addressed to Indonepal Tours.
  • To confirm your booking, an advance payment will be required. The specific amount will depend on the nature of the service and the time remaining before the tour begins. Our management team reserves the right to determine the advance payment amount.
  • Full payment upfront may be required in certain cases, such as special train journeys or peak season hotel bookings (Christmas, New Year).

Payment Methods

  • Overseas advance payments can be made via wire transfer to our designated bank account, or even by UPI. Details will be provided upon booking confirmation.

Cancellation Policy

  • We require written notification of any tour or travel service cancellation. Cancellation charges will be applied based on the date we receive your written notice

Nepal Tours (including Muktinath Trek):

  • Cancel 25 days or more before departure: 30% cancellation fee.
  • Cancel 18-24 days before departure: 40% cancellation fee.
  • Cancel 10-17 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee.
  • Cancel less than 10 days before departure: 80% cancellation fee.

Force Majeure:

In case of trip cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (pandemic, political unrest, natural disaster), a 40% cancellation fee will apply.

This version clarifies the Muktinath Trek exception and separates it from the general Nepal Tour policy. It also uses bolder text and bullet points for easier reading.

Cancellation charges for trekking, mountain climbing

  • 25 or more days before the date of departure: 30% of total cost
  • 18 – 24 days before the date of departure: 40% of total cost.
  • 10 – 17 days before the date of departure: 50 % of total cost.
  • Less than 10 days from the trek start date: 80% of total cost.
  • No refund if the trek/tour gets started.
  • No charges if you reschedule the trek / tour to any future date (you need to tell us minimum 15 days before the start date).

Cancellation Terms

  • Please note that written cancellations will only be accepted on weekdays (excluding Sundays). Cancellations received on Sundays will be considered on the following Monday.
  • For the Christmas and New Year period (December 20th to January 5th), all payments are non-refundable.
  • In case of cancellation after the tour commences, refunds will be limited to the amount recoverable from our partnered hotels, contractors, etc. We do not hold responsibility for refunds on unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation, or missed meals.

Our Liabilities and Limitations

  • After finalizing the tour/service cost, any increase in entrance fees, taxes, fuel costs, or guide charges by the Government of India will be charged as extra.
  • Itineraries are samples intended to provide a general idea of the planned trip schedule. Various factors, such as weather, road conditions, or participant abilities, may necessitate itinerary changes before or during the tour. We reserve the right to modify the schedule to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of all participants.
  • Our rates are based on prevailing rates negotiated with hotels, airlines, etc. These rates are subject to change without notice by the hotels or airlines. In such cases, the quoted rates may be adjusted accordingly.
  • Hotel bookings are based on standard check-in and check-out times unless otherwise specified in the itinerary.
  • We will not be held responsible for any delays, alterations, or expenses incurred (directly or indirectly) due to natural disasters, flight cancellations, accidents, vehicle breakdowns, transportation issues, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person or property arising from accommodation, transportation, or other services provided. This includes any incidents resulting from acts of God, dangers, fire, accidents, breakdowns, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, medical or customs regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.
