Upon arrival at Kathmandu (Tribhuvan International Airport), you will be warmly welcomed by the Indo Nepal Tours representative and assisted with a smooth transfer to your hotel. After check-in, take some time to rest and refresh following your journey.
In the late afternoon or early evening, proceed to the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Shiva temples in the world. Located on the banks of the Bagmati River, the temple complex radiates intense spiritual energy. Witness the powerful evening aarti, where rhythmic chants, ringing bells, oil lamps, and devotional music create a deeply moving atmosphere. Observe sacred cremation rituals at the Bagmati ghats, offering a profound reminder of life’s spiritual cycle.
After darshan and aarti, return to the hotel for overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Begin the day early with breakfast at the hotel before heading once again to Pashupatinath Temple for morning darshan, considered the most auspicious time to seek Lord Shiva’s blessings. Spend time walking around the temple premises, observing sadhus, chanting mantras, and participating in personal prayers and rituals. Hindu pilgrims may enter designated inner areas as permitted.
After completing darshan, continue your spiritual exploration of Kathmandu with visits to other revered landmarks. Proceed to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world, where prayer flags flutter and devotees perform circumambulation while chanting mantras. The calm, meditative energy of the site offers a beautiful contrast to the intensity of Pashupatinath.

In the evening, return to your hotel. You may choose to explore local markets around Thamel for rudraksha beads, religious items, and souvenirs. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Optional activities include a visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square, known for its ancient palaces and temples, or guided shopping tours for handicrafts, thangkas, and traditional Nepali items. Evening is free for rest or light exploration. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
